About

I am Sachin Diwakar, a senior software engineer in Jodhpur. For six years I have taken a requirement and turned it into software a team can ship: new features, changes to a product already in use, and the APIs and admin tools around them. I sit with testers, keep the technical notes a team actually needs, and stay steady when the date is close.

Since April 2025 I have been a senior software engineer at Spanidea, working with Nokia and Nokia Bell Labs on network telemetry and test automation. From January 2021 to March 2025 I was a full-stack developer at Plenum Networks, shipping websites and mobile apps for venues, communities, events, commerce, and day-to-day operations.

I care about software that stays fast, is clear to the next person who opens it, and holds up after release.

Automation for the Nokia CDM black box

Nokia Bell Labs demonstration for the CDM black box automation work

An automation framework and a master console that orchestrates several interfaces and runs tests on Nokia’s CDM black box. The console is the place a team plans a run, executes it, and reads the result.

  1. Worked with stakeholders and product managers on requirements, scope, and estimates, so the plan matched the time and the people available.
  2. Containerised the stack with Docker so a run starts the same way on every machine.
  3. Built a Test Management module end to end: the business rules, and the API layer the console uses to run and track tests.

Telemetry for the Nokia 7705 SAR-HM

Nokia device from the SAR-HM telemetry work

The SAR-HM SNMP collector is a lightweight telemetry service for Nokia 7705 SAR-HM devices. It polls SNMPv2c OIDs on a steady cycle, turns raw MIB counters into structured CDM-compliant KPIs, and publishes that JSON to MQTT.

The CDM KPI engine consumes those topics and stores the series in InfluxDB. Operators then watch the network live in Nextspace.

  1. Designed modular KPI builders in Python asyncio. Redis keeps the previous sample so throughput and packet loss are deltas, and the poll stays stable at 10–12 seconds.
  2. Shipped an MQTT publisher with QoS 1, TLS, and automatic reconnect, so a dropped broker does not silently end the stream.
  3. Packaged the collector as a multi-stage Docker image with environment-based configuration, and ran the same build from development through production on Kubernetes.
  4. Gave live demos to Nokia stakeholders: an MQTT subscription, InfluxDB queries, and the collector’s own performance, on one screen.

VenueLog, a place to book a venue

VenueLog connects owners of venues with people who need one, for weddings, conferences, AGMs, book launches, and shows. Listing, enquiry, and payment live in the same product, so both sides can finish the arrangement without leaving it.

  1. Designed the database so listings, bookings, and accounts could grow without a rewrite.
  2. Integrated Stripe and Paystack so payment stays on a path both sides already trust.
  3. Built a notification service with subscriptions, so owners and seekers hear about bookings and changes.
  4. Kept the work in GitHub with the rest of the team, from review through release.

Christ Embassy, a community app

Christ Embassy is a Bible community. People meet, join study groups, use a marketplace, and read a library of verses. The web product sits beside a Flutter app, and both talk to the same API.

Reining Horse, tickets for the show

Reining Horse is an event product for horse shows. A visitor buys a ticket, follows the live show, registers a horse, and enters a race. Reminders go out through the mobile app before the day.

  2. Integrated Stripe so a ticket can be bought inside the product.
  3. Added a PDF ticket people can download and bring to the gate.
  4. Scheduled reminders so updates go out before the show, not after it.
